Message from David Livingstone
Grown up in the small village located in the edge of Serengeti, I have been in the nature and the wildlife all the time. My dream has been to provide the wonderful services with full of nature and wildlife experiences for those who visit Tanzania. Starting my career as a porter in the Mt. Kilimanjaro, I had some experience as a cook, a mountain guide and involved in both the tours in the mountains and safaris as well as connections with the tours in the beautiful Tanzanian beach. Through my experience, I strongly believe our activities should benefit to our customers, our stuffs and local communities with minimizing the impact of our activities to the biodiversities and natural resources.
From 2013, Summit 2 Sand Safaris has been germinating from a little seedling to a growing tree. We have been continuously improving our projects to meet our customers needs. We have recognized that some customers visit Tanzania for their anniversary, so we have been increased the kind of our services and options depending on their situation and their request. We have also recognized that the increased number of elderly customers, and we strengthened our services in the last few years. With our special care for safety, many of our elderly customers, including over 80 years of age, have successfully summited Mt. Kilimanjaro.
I am proud that Summit 2 Sand Safaris has been continuously growing and receiving positive feedbacks from our customers, our stuffs and local community. These achievements encourage the growth of the companies outreach to both international and local communities on variety of perspectives.
As an internationally recognized tour projects in Tanzania, we are now starting up or renewing some projects for 1. community empowerment, 2. environmental education, and 3. protection of cultural diversities, in order to contribute to Sustainable Development Goals . We are going to make a concrete goal for each project in the timeframe of 5 years (~2025) and 10 years (~2030). We are going to issue the annual reports from 2020, and we are going to update our projects continuously through our homepage.

Obtained a Diploma in Tourism Management at the Mweka Wildlife College in Tanzania (2007). Over 15 years of experience in the tourism industry as a mountain guide, a cook, a porter in mountains and safaris in Tanzania (before and after Mweka Wildlife College).
